My Musical Spirit Animal

And it explains so much if you really think about it…

I've had only one friend in my life who appreciated Philip Glass as much as I do. Sadly, he exited the planet during the horrific 90s, and I still miss him to this day. Wherever you are David, I hope you're enjoying Glass' music at angelic volume.

Promise?

I have a feeling that we're gonna be let down again and be stuck with all those assholes…

Takes Me Back To A Simpler Time

Inspired by this post on Instagram:

I realized I hadn't made my ears bleed with this album for quite some time. So I pulled out my copy (one of the few pieces of vinyl that survived the great purge of '88) and put it on for a spin. (Take care of your vinyl kids, it will last you a lifetime.)

And room shaking volume at only about 3/4 of a watt RMS peak! Can you say, "efficient loudspeakers"?

Midney's music takes me back to a much simpler time in my life when it seemed my only concerns were going out, dancing, getting laid, and having a good time doing it. No bills, no health concerns, no imminent collapse of western civilization…

I can't say I have (or want) any personal experience with anything on this list, but what say you, dear readers?

Orville Peck & Willie Nelson – Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other

Well, Well, Well…It Finally Happened

ABC did in the fourth episode of their first season what FOX couldn't/wouldn't do in six years.

Fandom never believed in a million years it would actually happen—even with all parties involved repeatedly agreeing they were cool with it. Still, it was a surprise to both fandom and casual viewers alike when it happened. (Ben was reading ahead online during a commercial break and let out an "OH MY GOD!" from the Kitchen and I my first thought was that they'd killed off a major character because—well—911!).

Social media went into a meltdown of praises and relief. Our 911 viewing experience has definitely changed forever with this historic moment. Our lives will never be the same—and neither will Evan "Buck" Buckley's.

Oliver Stark – Again, you displayed such a delicate yet powerful performance for this episode. All emotions were on point. Valid! And we all felt it deep in our bones. The storyline is worthy for the show's 100th episode. You did not disappoint us. You delivered and exceeded everyone's expectations. Thank you!

But the question remains…when are you and Eddie getting together?
