An Observation

I'm almost starting to feel sorry all the Christianist Zombies out there trying to force their own brand of Sharia Law down the throat of the United States—not because they feel they're being "persecuted," but because of the amount of complete and utter darkness they're wandering around in. I mean, can you imagine living your life day in and day out so full of hate for everything that is different than you, so completely obsessed with trying to make the world conform to your bronze-age view that nothing else matters? Spending your life in a never-ending state of cognitive dissonance has to be what serious, unmedicated mental illness feels like.

  1. They are mentally ill. These people structure their whole life on a set of fairy tales because it is easier, they want someone to tell them how to live, and/or they are afraid of death.

  2. Funny, I made a similar observation recently: how sad that all their waking hours for their entire adult life is spent wallowing in hate, blinded to the life and world around them because they're too busy spouting ignorant venom. The only peace they will ever have is when they finally die and rot back into the soil and have no awareness of the life they wasted or how wrong they were. Probably more than they deserve, but then, good or evil, we all get the same "reward" in the end. Just sad.
