I'll admit, I grew up post-Disco, and didn't have an appreciation for it until after I met the Husbear. Which took a few years. Every now and then we go to the Dallas Eagle for their "Trash Disco" party that happens on the first Sunday of the month. I enjoy watching the people who grew up with this in their blood out there dancing and enjoying themselves.
Really enjoyed Born to be Alive.
And back then, any thing Annie Lennox did was always good
